This is for a console by itself with a single controller, and no additional games. Buying this bare-bones system will at least get you the console, and you can rent games if you are trying to keep your spend amount low. Yet you can find online deals lower than that price.
Wii prices for consoles with additional accessories are higher, of course. For a two player Wii bundle, which includes two controllers and two nunchuk accessories, prices can push $500. Keep in mind though that a second controller and nunchuk accessory will cost about $60 (plus tax) at retail; in addition to these two player systems usually come with games like Wii Play, Wii Sports, and possibly some others.
